Mayor Lee Leffingwell, Chair
Term: Mayor is designated by statute
*Mayor Lee Leffingwell is a native of Austin and a retired airline pilot. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, then became an officer and pilot in the United States Navy. He was a pilot and Captain for Delta Air Lines for almost 32 years. Lee served for more than five years on Austin’s Environmental Board and in 2005 was elected to Austin’s City council representing Place 1 before being elected as Mayor in June 2009.

Art Alfaro, Treasurer
Term: City Treasurer is designated by statute
*Art Alfaro was appointed City Treasurer for the City of Austin in December 2005. Mr. Alfaro has over 24 years of public service with the City of Austin, with 15 of those years concentrated in managing the City’s $4.5 billion debt management program.

Keith Johnson, Vice-Chair
Term: January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2014 
*Keith Johnson served in the Austin Fire Department over 30 years before retiring in 2012 at the rank of Captain. Keith is a registered principal in the securities business and a licensed investment advisor. Keith was elected to his second 3 year term on the board in January 2012.

James Fedro, Trustee
Term: January 1, 2013 – December 31, 2015
*James Fedro is a Captain in the Austin Fire Department and has served over 21 years. James graduated from SWT with a degree in accounting and a minor in management. James was elected to his second 3 year term on the board in January 2013.
